How do I hook up my Timing Retard so it goes on with the Nitrous???

Hey guys,

I recently picked up a MSD timing retard box to add to my 6AL. I know for the most part what wires go where, but I can't figure out how to get it to only come on with the Nittrous?

I was told to hook it up to the ground of one of the solenoids, but that seems like it is just a normal ground?

Do I ground it normally and hook the power wire up to one that leads to a solenoid? would that be right.

Please let me know what I need to do.

Thanks,
Eric

just hook it into the arm switch. Easiest way.

Or if u want it to retard when the noid opens, and the retard is triggered by a possitive voltage, u can splice it at the relay.

Go to MSD's web site and go to the download section and you can find wiring instructions on how to do this correctly.

I emailed MSD and they faxed the install instructions for an LT1 nitrous application. But I'd check out their website like JWINN said.
