hooking up nitrous switch

I have just about everything hooked up on my NX kit. I'm going to hook up my electric fuel pressure and nitrous guages to the 12v switched source from the fuse panel by the drivers door dash. Can I hook up my activation switch for the nitrous to that same source? And the bottle warmer switch, and the purge switch? Or is there another 12v switched source close by coming from the pcm?

Depends how you have the system components hooked up. The "activation" switch should eventually connect power to the nitrous and fuel solenoids. Each solenoid should have a relay - the wire from the "activiation" switch just provides the low current signal to the relay. Same with the purge solenoid and the bottle warmer..... they should have relays. If all you are doing is providing the "signal" to all the relays from the switch +12V ("IGN") source at the end of the panel, you probably will not exceed the power capacity of that circuit. I think it is protected by the 15A fuse right above it, and there are other existing loads on the circuit. The instrument lights and electronics don't draw much power, but you should consider taking the lights in the gauges off the light switch or the panel dimmer rheostat.

I have a lot of my stuff run off the "IGN" connection, and I did experience a 15A fuse failure when apparently I had too many devices activated.

That's what I needed Fred. Yes, I have the main power through a relay. Just wanted to confirm if it was ok to hook up guages and switches to the IGN on the fuse panel. Although, I don't think my purge is hooked through the relay. Just one wire to a ground and the other to the switch and the switch to a 12v ignition source. Thanks again Fred.
