I have a tnt plate kit. its a 4150 plate "carb". . Its the f1 kit which is adjustable from 100-350. I am running a 150 shot right now. I am only picking up 4mph in the 8th mile and when I go to the 1/4 I am only picking up 8. Now i go from a 12.90 to a 11.66 and in the 1/4 and from an 8.12 to a 7.30 in the 1/8 now the times are ok, but I should be picking up lots more mph and more et as well. It feels like it kind of surges just a little, not bad but just enough to notice. I called them and they told me to chagne my ground so I did and it did nothing. The thought that maybe the nos solenoid was pulsating with a bad ground. I am running at about 9.5 lbs fp pressure. The want 10, but a while back it was to rich on the dyno at 10. So does anyone have a clue here ???? The 60ft goes from low 1.80s on the motor to mid 1.50's on the spray...any help would be great.

Doesnt sound too far off. i pick up about 10-11 mph with a 150 hit in the 1/4. also gain about 5-6 in the 1/8.

The et gains are spot on,the mph is 1-2 off,nothing to get worked up over. If it's pulsing,make sure it isnt detonating or running overly rich.

Sounds about right to me. I gained 4-5mph in the 1/8 with a 150 shot. The slower you were going in the first place though, the more you should gain.

well now I am officialy frustrated. I went to the track and found out some other stuff. The fastest I went was a 11.66 at a whoping 113.mph, the other night I went the same et with a 117 so I dont get it. The whole way down the track it was breaking up a little here a little ther. mostly after the 1/8. I think I am going ot try and run my nx kit to see if I am having the same probs. any help here? I went with a 3 step colder plug today as well thinking that would help. nope nadda. I only got 2 runs that were half way decent an 11.66 and a 11.69 the other runs were bad cause it would break up .. I just dont get it here. oh ya the other thing was that if I did not have at least 1100psi bottle pressure it would get worse.. dotn get that at all..

I am going to guss you are running to rich.. try leaning it out a little but be carfull to lean and boom your done.. I piked up 11mph in the 8th going from a 8.39@80mph on motor to a 7.66@91mph on a 150 shot (should be a 7.45 I goofed up and left it in 2nd I ran a 1.69 60ft left it in 2nd and still ran a 7.73@82mph... ran a 1.82 60ft and a 7.66@91mph I just need to hook better but I think yours are pretty close et wise last year my car ran a 11.96@110mph which was kinda low mph but the et was wat I wanted..

Sounds like the bottle is mounted incorrectly, this is the most common cause of surging. Make sure it is mounted so that when you launch the liquid is picked up by the syphon tube inside the bottle.
