Having trouble installing TNT LT1 kit

I cant seem to get the plate mounted between the throttle body and the manifold. The sensor on the bottom of the TB (IAC??) Hits the thermostat housing when the plate is in, so the bolts don't line up. I took the grinder the the TB a bit, and I'm gonna try to file the thermo. housing tomorrow, but did anybody else have this problem? Installing this kit has been a nightmare and I'm starting to think it's not even worth it anymore. I guess I'm just frustrated with all of it. Anybody have any suggestions???

This is what I did. I took a dremel tool to the bottom of the throttle body (the piece that runs the coolant through not the actual throttle body). This was easy to do and gave me just enough clearance for the throttle body to clear with the plate in between and didnt do any harm to the piece that was dremeled.

I did a light grind on the thermostat housing (cheaper to replace if something went wrong).

If you eyeball it correctly, it doesn't take much.
