Re: Generic ebay kits?

I just ordered my Cold Fusion nitrous kit from eBay. I couldnt pass it up. You get a wet kit adjustable from 35-175 HP for 470 shipped to your door. The communication with the seller is excellent and if you look at their website, it doesnt look like just a Ma and Pa N2O setup. They just arent as hyped as NOS or NX. I guess only time will tell. I will post when I get it up and running and let you guys know how it feels and if I have any issues with it.

Post a reply here after you install your kit and test it out.
I am VERY interested in your opinion on the kit. Install, operation and performance gain.....etc

I will (hopefully) be installing my nitrous kit next month and it contains his billit fogger plate! I will also post up my opinion of the plate...

I checked out that thread and YES he does come across as a sales guy. But he didn't sound rude or belittling. I suggest you buy one of his kits and test it side by side against a comparable kit that you would sell. THEN post up the results. The test results will speak for themselves.

And that thread sure did have alot of people chime in that were not happy with their kits for whatever reason. I actually thought people were bashing NX products...

Re: Generic ebay kits?

Yes I have been following that thread.Alot of people are having problems with the NXL kit.The biggest problem is with the jetting. As for buying one of his kits Ill pass.Ill stick with a company that I know is going to be around when I need something warranted. You get what you payed for.Besides Dave sold me my firts kit for 525.00 and it was a NX kit.It is deffintly better quality.I have been happy.I just thought I would share what I have seen on the other board.Hope I didnt offend anyone.

nx makes good ****. i have a problem with the nozzles being before the tb. with an open air plenum, the best way to get an even flow of n2o to each cylinder is with a plate.

Not on a LS1 or LT1.I feel that the 2 front intake runners are two close. If the plate is not built properly it will not distribute the nitrous to each cylinder properly. With the nozzle before the throttle body It has plenty of time to mix with the air flow, attomizing properly.

Re: Generic ebay kits?

hey, i just bought a relay from you, got here yesterday, thanks for the help. with the nx setup ive witnessed a few people that have had the 1st 4 cylinders running the main load of the n2o, and the rear cylinders getting near to nothing. seen a couple of things with TNT where all cyilinders were even. This was from a friends car who started out with NX, then took the top end to see what was going on, switched to TNT, and checked again.

Re: Generic ebay kits?

Thanks you for your order. However as far as the NX only hitting the first 4 cylinders that sound crazy. We do alot of inhouse testing here and both NX and TNT are great companys as far as the distrubution biend different I can see it.I have had grreat luck with both nozzles.

Re: Generic ebay kits?

couldnt tell you. maybe it was the way he had the nozzle pointed. there are a lot of factors.

while we are here, the 15515 relay will connect power to pin 87 when there is a solid ground to pin 85 right? I was wondering if the ground connection from the new style nx maximizer (500 mili amp) would be enough to trigger the relay.

Re: Generic ebay kits?

I bought all kinds of N20 stuff off EBay. Solenoids, line, nozzles, you name it. The only thing I'm really careful about is bottles. I know two guys who bought bottles that had no siphon tube in them. Ask questions and if you ever get a "don't know" or "not sure about that", run away.
