Fuel solenoid question.

I am finally installing my direct port setup I bought. Eventually I will do a stand alone fuel system but in the mean time can I jet it for a 100 shot and get my fuel from the schrader valve? Would this hurt the fuel solenoids at all with fuel pressurized in them all the time?
Also let me know if I am a complete idiot for trying to jet it for that small of a shot.
Thanks

Re: Fuel solenoid question.

....From what I understand, On direct port setups when trying super small shots , (under 150 to 175 HP)....you run a much increased risk of a jet clog since the fuel jet orifices being so small because of the EFI high pressure........Of course you can do it , but to be safe, I'd do the stand alone low pressure system to start.......

Re: Fuel solenoid question.

Thats what I was afraid of, oh well no going back now. I will just install what I have and then add the fuel system later.
Thanks.
