fuel line question...1994 lt1.

im going to try to explain this the best i can.Well, behind my intake where the fuel cap is, theres where the fuel line is suppose to connect right? It almost looks like the plug where you would hook up the hose to put air in your bike tire...well, i guess i'll call it the little needle looking thing right in the middle, i was toled to pull that out then hook up the line, is that right?

hopes this makes sense to someone..Thanks for any help.

also if it helps, its a harris nitrous kit.

yes...you will need to remove the schrader valve from the test port on the fuel rail....you will use a valve core removal tool to take it out...they cn be picked up at any parts house and even some Wal-Marts

the fuel feed line can screw directly to the test port....you will need a manifold if you are needing to add more than one item to the port...FPSS, fuel pressure gauge, etc)

Going off what Ray said, here is a pic of the valve core removal tool that I picked up from Wal-Mart.

be extremely careful when screwing the line onto the test port, it snaps off very easily...

Exactly, Ive already broken one off already. Dont over tighten it or else you'll find your self replacing a fuel rail or having someone braze the fitting back on. Not to scare you or anything.

I cracked mine when I first put my nitrous set-up on the car. Spent 2 days lookin for a fuel rail and got raped on the price I payed. But I had to have it, I was leaving for college the next day.

Agreed, I torqued the line down with a stubby wrench using my pinky and thumb. The AN lines don't need alot of cranking to get them to seal properly.
