FUEL LEAK!!!! AHHHHH help me
its off from the fuel rails.....I know FOR SURE its fuel and not condensation.....now i have to go back to get it fixed for the SECOND time...I thought they would get it right the first time
pretty bad first experience if you ask me...im not liking the whole nitrous thing anymore
from now on im doing all the work
by the way its a TNT kit...and my bottle opener sucks @ss, screw the NX opener, it takes like 5 mintues to open...my bottle pressure was only at 600 psi..how long do i need to keep the freaking bottle heater on...??
its a nos bottle heater

How long was the heater on for? do you have a bottle blanket or dd you wrap anything around it? why did you buy a remote bottle opener? too lazy to open it yourself?
As far as the heater, depends on outside temp, and if you have anything wrapped around the bottle itself. I learned a LONG time ago it takes 2-3 timnes longer to heat a bottle without a blanket or something wrapped around it and the heater. I run the NOS heater and i DONT use the NOS thermostat pos thing.

It was on for 8 min or so...no bottle blanket.....I brought it to speed Inc...and when i first turned the bottle on i had 2 leaks...one by the filer near the bottle...and the other was somewhere off a solinoid i belive...and now this fuel leak....it just pours out when i turn the car on.....i really hate this whole nitrous thing, i think i might sell the kit and go for some apperance mods
8 minutes is nothing, remember you are trying to heat a filled cylinder from a 12x8 contact patch, takes a good bit longer then 8 minutes, plus you really need to get a blanket or wrap a towel/sweatshirt around it. the more heat you keep on the bottle, the faster it heats up.
If you dont want to take it back to them I can look at it with you. Heck we can even convert it over to a dry kit if you want and never have a fuel leak. If the opener is sucking then it is eithor bad or not wired up rite. You have to mess with 6 wires just for that alone on the switch to reverse the polarity on the noid for it. Maybee even too small a wire leading to to much voltage drop not allowing it to open all the way. I will be up at Rt 66 tue nite. If you want to meet up I'd be happy to check it over with you.
I had a small fuel leak at the fitting from the line to the solenoid for a while. I reconnected the fitting about 3-4 times with teflon paste, and it continued to leak.
I finally reconnected it with teflon tape (just one strip wrapped around once), and it hasn't leaked again yet!
Don't be afraid to use the tape; just don't put it anywhere past the threads!
