Re: Fogger Kit....What ignition upgrades?

Many guys get away with their stock (in good condition) ignition....but for any amount of bottle, I personally wouldn't risk using the stock ignition no matter the condition it's in........A good MSD digital 6 (or equilivent) will yeild a much hotter spark, An adjustable spark cutting rev limiter(not fuel), and an adjustable stage retard to pull your timing while spraying, Ect........

Thanks for the input, I really apreciate that. Anything else that might need to be looked into other then the obvious with different spark plugs

Re: Fogger Kit....What ignition upgrades?

No problem.......as far as what else is a good idea to make things safer.....number one IMO, would have to be a fuel pressure safety switch(A hobbs switch) this way "if" your fuel pressure for any reason drops below your preset level, the solenoids will not operate(some kits actually still don't include this $30 engine saver part)......Also, a window switch Is a good idea, so that the nitrous will only come on at a preset rpm , and also go off at a preset rpm...An example window switch setting would be activate at 3000rpm, and deactivate at 6000rpm's........another helpful item is a bottle heater, so you can manipulate the bottle pressure for optimum performance, and ofcourse a bottle pressure gauge to see where it is........some kits out there come with some of this stuff, but many dont......good luck..............Joe
