I have the NX kit and I have a few questions about wiring. I am terrible at electrical stuff and I bought it used so I am not to sure about a few things.

What does it mean when it says go to "switched" or "keyed" 12 volt source? Since there are a number of these needed, do I have to run a new wire to the 12 volt source or just split the wire?



Also, with the relay supplied(not for bottle opener) it says to take the red wire to the WOT switch and then the black one "to 12 volt battery". Does this mean the positive terminal? I thought black was for the ground. Is this right?
