expectations

i have a 68 camaro, runs 13.9 on motor only. its a 350 low compression, hot cam, all msd ignition, headers, edelbrock intake, holley dp 670, 4speed, 3.73posi car. i installed a topshot nitrous kit with 100hp jets. its a wet system WOT gated. does anyone know what kind of quartermile improvments ill get granted i get traction?

12.9-13.2, depends on traction. For every 10hp increase you should see .1 ET reduction.

I'd say high 12's with slicks.

i went from about a 14.0 to 12.4 on a 150 shot...so you should be able to take off about 1 second if you spray in all gears...and add about 8-10 mph to your trap speed...

actually, closer to stock motors react a little better to n2o than radically modded motors, at least from my experience. your motor is basically a stock 350. i would expect AT least high 12s but dont be suprised if you see as good as 12.6-7.

good luck and make sure you have traction. its all worthless if you cant put the extra power to the ground!
