Thumbs down Edelbrock nitrous kit - blow down tube installation problems

Ok I ordered the Edelbrock parts to install their blow down tube and nothing seems to be able to be assembled. Inside the blow-off "nut" that came on the bottle it seems that there is a threaded piece that goes in there that needs to come off in order to install the Edelbrock blow down tube adapter. Anyone deal with this yet?

Looking at the bottles on their site looks like they use the same valves as most everyone else does now (except NOS I believe). You should just need to remove the original BD Fitting, make sure you replace the Disc just as it was, with the new 8AN/D-8 Threaded Fitting.

PS, You'll need to have the bottle empty for this.

Well I figured it out. The bottle was a Gen I bottle, I fixed it by just buying a new bottle valve from a local speed shop. Problem solved...
