Dynoed with NX

Disappointed in my dyno. Last time I dynoed was before my Lloyd Elliot heads and it was 300rwhp. This time with the heads it was 291. But, I bumped up the fuel pressure because of the NX system and I was running real rich. 11.8 fuel ration. They hooked up a meter during the dyno. Ok, with a 75 shot, I did 341 rwhp and 357.7 rwt and 11.2 fuel ratio. And without changing the fuel jet and just putting the 100hp nitrous pill, I got 372.6 rwhp and 416.3 rwt with 11.7 fuel ratio. I think a little rich. And I do have a 2800 stall converter which robs some HP on the dyno. Oh, well. Then on the way home, I was gettin' on it pretty heavy without nitrous and it spewing oil from the passengers side valve cover. Maybe the oil fill tube.

I wouldn't think the ring land would go with such a low shot... but the symptoms are right.

Do you have access to a leak down tester?

Yes I was thinking the same thing. Oh well. I havn't even used the nitrous but two times on the street with a 75 shot and the dyno. It was leaking oil from before anyway, just not spwewing like now. Time to rebuild I guess.

i blew a piston ring.. spewed oil up the pvc pipe and back into my throttle body.... smoked a lot too..Your numbers were low cuz u were running on 7 pistons.. Do a compression test on your pistons.
