Dry kit on 95 LT1??

I am putting on a universal nos brand dry kit on my 95Z28. Will the fuel pressure regulator raise the pressure the way it is supposed to on a lt1? How big of shot will the stock fuel pump keep up with?? I put 100 shot jets in it and ran it and it doesnt feel like its running as good as it should. I called nos and they said the kit was designed for only a 150 shot. But when i called back a few days later another guy recommended not going over a 100 shot. Any ideas?? Thanx in advance

The 5176 kit for the LT1 uses a slipstream from the nitrous supply line, through a blue pressure regulator, to the vacuum connection on the FPR. That raises the fuel pressure to 85-90psi. Not sure if the "universal" kit has the same features. The 5176 kit has a base rating of 125-150HP, and comes with an inline booster fuel pump. Its generally recommended that you swap out the stock injectors for pintle type injectors to run at elevated pressures. I wouldn't try running the system without the inline fuel pump.

NOS also sells a "jet tee" that goes in the line to the vacuum regulator and allows you to adjust the HP from 75-150 with different jet combos.

yup

That is the same type setup as i am talking about. Would putting in a 255lph walboro fix it? Or is it a little cheaper and easier to add a little in line pump?? Which pumps would be best for this and where is the best place to get them at the best prices??
