DP question: rails vs distribution blocks

I have been checking out some nitrous kits and have been wanting to spray for a while but want to go all out basicly. I have noticed that a lot of people are running either the NX or homeade fuel and nitrous rails to distribute the goods. Are there any benifits to using these over distribution blocks?

I am considering buying TNT solenoids and nossles and custom making some rails for a dp setup but don't know if it would be worth it or not.

Some people you talk to will tell you the rails dont work, others will say they do. There are some specifics in how you set it up that I believe can make or brake it. I have been using rails on my own system for about 3 years now, without any problems at all. It works very well. Give me an email if you have any questions about them.

Are there any benefits of rails (NX part # 80010) over distribution blocks (NX part # 80000) other than a cleaner install?

The distribution blocks are $300 cheaper!

I personally think the rails distribute easier. There is less volume in the tube to the nozzle in the rail, rather then a long, individual line to each nozzle. That and they look cool. I do think it makes a big difference on how you set the rails up though. Ive seen some that just didnt work. I use them on my own motor, and love em!

Now for the big question.

How much do you charge for the kit (NX 80010) plus the labor for install and bending up the hard lines?

Give me a call. I am not allowed to discuss prices on the internet. I can give you a quote on the labor and the kit, after you tell me exactly what you are looking for. It will only take a minute. Hope to hear from you soon.
