Does this sound right?

Right now i have the mods below, with a NX direct port wet kit, and the Accel Gen 7 Engine management system. All is well but i was looking into a second stage with a NOS dry nozzle and powershot solenoid. A local speed shop looked in the NOS book for jet size for 75 HP shot, and if i remember correctly it was a .026" jet. I called NOS tech, and they said that with the Gen 7 i should run a .038" jet for a 75 HP shot. There is a pretty big difference between the two and i just want to make sure im not putting on a extra 150 HP or something with the NOS recommended jet. Keep in mind that i am running the NX bottle with the NX pressures also. Thanks

Re: Does this sound right?

Just guessing here, but if the speed shop looked up the pills for a dry shot on your car and came up with a much smaller jet size, then I imagine they gave you the jet sizing for a stock dry nos kit that boosts the fuel pressure. The Nos tech probably took into account your dfi and figured you wouldnt be raising the fuel pressure when spraying, and came up with a larger jet.

You might want to call the speed shop back and have them explain how they came up with thier jetting recommendation.
