does it realy matter if you heat your bottle
does it realy matter if you heat your bottle
i just ran at the drag strip it was an 1/8 mile track and i ran an 8.5 with no nitrous with nitrous was an 8.2,what could the problem be i felt the nitrous come in but it just wasnt the much of a difference in power,by the way this is a 100 shot dry on an 01 z28
Re: does it realy matter if you heat your bottle
Heck yeah it does. Heat has a near linear relationship with pressure. IOW, if your bottle is too cold, your pressure is too low. Why is this bad? Not enough pressure will not create the proper mix of nitrous/fuel 9read: more fuel).
A heater should come standard in kits. It is as mandatory as having a window switch, IMO.

your bottle pressure should be between 900-1050. after 1050 it hits the critical point of nitous which if your running the track you will hate anything higher then 1050.
