The car is LT1 and I was wondering do I need the MSD to install the MSD window switch on it? Some say yes and some say No. I have seen alot of LS1 cars that has MSD window Switch without the MSD. Thats why im confused.

No, you don't have to have an MSD ignition..... The MSD window switch will work on any car, as long as you can find the tach wire.....

Its not for my car. Its a friends car and we are trying to install a MSD window switch on it because he is running 90shot NOS and want to up it to 140shot. The car is a JEEP with a 94 LT1 Camaro Engine with 40 over bore.
