Question Do fuel pressure safety switches break alot?

I'm getting my nitrous kit installed right,I asked about the safety features I need. They say install the window rpm switch.I asked about the fpss and they tell me"They throw them away, because the switch breaks more than it works."Have any of you found this to be true?

Sorry man,but what kind of BS is that?
We use FPSS for both NOS and turbo/SC engines alike.
Always the adjustable ones from Hobbs.
Over the years we´ve had ONE that´s gone bad.
One.
These guys want to leave a safetymeasure out that won´t let you stranded if it goes awol in any way.
Engine will still work..
If the FP on the other hand should rop out of some reason..
Talk about stranded!
Next thing is that the Hobbs switches are what..6 bux a pop.
Hell..if that worries you buy 4 of them and a 9/16 wrench and just have them laying around in the car!

Question

Hey,Racing. What is a Hobb's switch? They are only $6.00?The fuel pressure safety switch in Jegg's is like $30.00 and has to be wired in.
I asked the guys at the shop about the fpss. They will install the switch. They just haven't had very good luck with them.I guess.
I'd rather have the fpss break, than have my engine blow up.

I buy the Hobbs switches at a local industrial warehouse.
Translated into US currency it´d be 6,24.
