direct-port vs regular...paging nitro dave

how much safer is direct port nitrous injection as compared to regular (not sure the term used for that)?

how much more can you spray direct port vs regular?

how much for direct port, with purge, and bottle heater (operated by bottle pressure guage), bottle pressure guage?

thanks,

pride

A direct port does not allow you to spray any more HP....It gives you more control over tuning and distribution.

Direct port kits start around $899 and go up from there depending on option you choose.
Give me a call I would be happy to go over the options with you.

Here is a link to many intakes we have done in the past.

Something especially important to consider when using an LT1 intake, which were never known for their good distribution. I think direct port is the way to go if you have the cash.

Only if you plan on spraying at least 200hp....Our plate kit will easily support 50-200hp on a LTx style manifold. It is designed to improve distribution over a single nozzle setup.

Without a dedicated fuel system that can be run in low pressure (5-12psi), when running a direct port below 200 hp the fuel jet gets so small you run the risk of contaminates in the fuel plugging the fuel jets.

100 hp jetting for a LT1 DP run at 45 psi is 20n 12f.

For anything under 200hp I would go with our plate kit.
Kit only (on sale for $600)
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2806
Total Package (deduct $100 from the price for the kit special)
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2809
The total package includes all of the safety features and performance enhancing accessories.

Huh, well that's something I didn't know. I guess I've never looking into spraying anything less than a 300 shot.
