what does detonation sound like? when i spray i hear a ticking noise (does not sound painful). i was wondering if it might be the wiring relays clicking around? any help is appreciated as im not going to spray until i get this worked out. i have ngk tr5's and stock ignition and stock knock module.

Could be one of two things, your solonoids are pluseing or your are getting pinging.

Pinging would sound like marbles in your intake at the higher RPM's like over 4500. With out N20 spraying do you get the noise at WOT above 4500RPM to redline?

Pulsing would sound more like a clicking and your N20 performance would not be that great. Do you have a FPSS? If so it may need adjusted.

no i dont get pinging in the upper rpms without the spray, i am beginning to think its the solenoids, any ideas? how can i adjust the fpss?
