Considering a 383 stroker build, looking for recommendations on nitrous engine

I plan on starting a rebuild on my 94 Z28 LT1 and I want to stroke it out to a 383 and put nitrous on top of it for the track. I'm looking to go about 400-450 HP N/A and then add about 200-300 shot of nitrous on top. I know I'm going to need a good forged setup and well built bottom end, as well as a direct port setup for that much nitrous.

Mostly what I'm looking for is any opinions and recommendations on how best to accomplish this. I haven't made any specific decisions other than building a stroker and using nitrous so far. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not an expert but I'll give you the low down on the setup I'm buildng.

I worked with Erik Koeing from HPE on my setup.

I decided to go with the 11.1 to 1 compression ratio but it was more a by produce of the DCR that I wanted to run with the cam I'm using.

Since I planned on running Nitrous I wanted to get pistons with a thick crown to help increase longevity. I went with a set of custom wiseco pistons specially designed for nitrous with a 11 cc dish. Wiseco nitrous pins and the rings that they recommended for the nitrous use and the gap that is recommended for the size of shot I will eventually run.

Due to the custom piston and thicker crown we went with a 5.85 Eagle H beam rod that bolted up to an Eagle forged crank.

After block prep the pistons were left .002 in the hole.

I'll be running head studs to help hold the heads down on the big shots.

I'm sure there are way more exotic setups that are out there but I was shooting for a long engine life and power at the same time. Everything is a trade off.

I am happy with my current 383, and I hit it with lots of spray.

One thing I would definetly recomend is billet splayed caps. I broke all of the stockers which is what wiped out my last motor.
