The co2 isnt injected into the engine "the air freezes when it passes over a co2 charged areodynamic bulb located in the intake stream". You can easily make a system yourself for ~100. Buy a 20oz paintball gun tank for $20-40 and a nitrous solenoid, you can buy a solenoid used off ebay or swap meet now that the season is coming. You will need to get or fabricate a expansion chamber to put in the intake i would reccomed putting some kind of heat sink fins on it inline with the air to cool the air fully. keep the lines to the chamber small then get big for the dump to get the most expantion. It wont be like a shot of nos but its way safer. You should expect around 10-20 hp if you dont already have a cold air intke if you do i would say 5-15hp. those numbes arent positive they are just an educated guess you may get more or less.

Also its a cool thing to have simply because not many people do.

Why bother? You can piece together a nitrous kit for about the same price, which would be much more effective. If you want safe, go sit on the bench. This is the nitrous tech forum
