Checking solenoids

I did a search and didn't find anything to help w/ this. Got the NX kit in w/ a FPSS, Harlan window switch, Dynotune purge system, and Dig 6 ignition. The purge solenoid clicks when I test it and purges fine when I open the bottle. Tried testing the fuel and nitrous solenoids per NX instructions (bypassing the FPSS) and don't hear anything. I've double checked the wiring and everything seems according to directions. Relay wires: black to battery, red to WOT switch, white to FPSS, and green to solenoids. The arming switch (using NX panel) lights up when I turn the system on, the NX heater works, but the remote bottle opener doesn't. This could be a bad connection although I rechecked all of them. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Checking solenoids

I don't know what the test procedure is that you're using, but if you want to make sure the solenoids actually work, disconnect them from everything else, and touch one wire to the 12V of the battery, and the other to ground. If they don't click, they're not working. If they do click, something's wrong with the circuit you're currently using to test...

Re: Checking solenoids

Yeah, try that out... If they don't click when directly supplying voltage to them, then you got big problems. A couple of things you might check is the ground on the solenoids themselves, and the ground on the fpss....

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try that tomorrow and post the outcome.

Re: Checking solenoids

if you have the window switch wired in you need to bypass that also. the harlen has the dip switched, right? just adjust them down to your idle and check the noids as per NX instructions. plus if the car is running you won't need to bypass the FPSS.
