Can I Go 200?
Can I Go 200?
I'm runing 150 and want more, but my engine is stock, NX sayed that maybe i can go 175, but not 200, do you know some one runing more than 175 with no forged pistons?
Re: Can I Go 200?
i ran 175 with a stock LT1. could of pushed it more, but the trans let go.
200 is very touchy ground, you have to be absolutely SURE the fuel system is top notch and has a very good pump. also ignition and timing and tuning will be extremely important.

Re: Can I Go 200?
Actually, the limiting factor on the shark nozzle is the 3an lines going to the nozzle. I believe they will support up to 250.
I've run that size shot on a stock engine before and I didn't have a problem. The fuel system was not stock, the plugs were cold, and the ignition was retarded accordingly. But, with that size shot on a stock engine, there is always a chance that something could let go. You just have to weigh the benefits of the gained performance, against the consequences that could arise if something lets go.
