What did you mount your lower bottle bracket to?

I mounted the shorter bracket to the inner face of the compartment, opposite the power antenna unit, with two 5/16" grade 5 bolts, washers, and nuts. Before its finished I'll put a brace on the backside of the bolts for rigidity. The bungee is wrapped around twice and secured to the antenna bracket to help hold the bottle in place while I take measurements for a custom mount for the longer bracket up top. The rest of the N2O system isnt installed yet, so no worries about me letting loose 1200psi and expecting the bungee to keep it steady

New setup, courtesy of the write-up found at GAFBA.com. What an awesome idea! I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I used 1"x1/8"x36" flat aluminum stock, pop-rivets, sheetmetal screws, and a bolt. Only permanent modification to the body are the two small holes created by the screws (seen on the near braces). I bolted the opposite side of the bracket to a factory hole in the spare tire bracket. Its very light and easily removable. When the time comes to fill the bottle, the bottle brackets are easily accessible.

I just bolted mine directly to the wheel tub. No fabbing of any kind, used the NX brackets and all. I used the shorter bracket for the top mount and the tall one for the bottom. Cut the screws off in the inner wheel house and painted the inner wheel wells. I can open and close the bottle without removing the plastic spare cover, just pull it up by the seat belt hole and reach my hand right in there. Removal is a snap also! Like Skull said, dont forget the blow down tube, wont pass tech.(most tracks) without it. I can remove the spare cover and fold down my back seat and see my bottle pressure from the drivers seat too!!

Cool. Yeah I have to buy a whole bunch of stuff before I'm ready to spray it. Haven't even run the feed line yet. Taking is slow I guess. But yes, I am keeping safety in mind.
