Bottle PSI questions

Ok I ran my first shot (150) @ around 750-800psi in the bottle and ran a 12.47 @ 111. I then heated the bottle up to 1200 psi and ran a 12.4 @ 112.3. I know heathing the bottle is suposed to increase your times but i'm not seeing it.

Any suggestions?

maybe ur bottle was getting alittle low but i doubt it if it got to 1200, the main reason u want the bottle pressure up is to keep a consistant flow of nitrous flowing u may have not seem a drastic change but keep running it at about 1200

Well it's not so much the times that went up on your car..... But you gained 1.3 mph in the 1/4 which means you picked up 17 hp(in a 3600 lb car), by just upping your bottle pressure...... Try running your bottle dead cold at like 650 psi... It'll run like crap.. lol...

The correct bottle pressure can only be referenced to the fuel pressure and the size of the jets. They are interrelated. More bottle pressure = more nitrous, which requires more fuel, and so on. If your fuel jet size gives the correct mixture with 900psi bottle pressure, it will be too lean at 1,200psi.
