Bottle pressure....

What bottle pressure do you guys spray your dry kits at? Just curious.

Pretty sure it will be the same for wet or dry.....900-1000 psi

GB...

Sorry gb, guess I should have worded that one a little better. I was just curious about what pressure you guys spray at. Already know the 900-1000 recommended. I spray my at 1100 though and it hits like an animal. Just wondering if anyone else sprays this high or higher. Just curious. Didn't think it was a big issue since my pressure drops slightly throughout the run but still stay between 1000 to 1100 during my run at least till the bottle starts getting low. Anyway, thanks.

I ran my on the wideband at 1050 so I never spray higher then that to keep her on the rich side rather then lean. I always shoot for 900-1050. 1050 feels better though cause its not so rich.

Well, you're getting more nitrous through than at 1000psi, which is why your system will hit harder. That's not an issue, as long as you have enough fuel to stop the mixture from going too lean. It is essentially like running a bigger shot.

But...

But on an LT1 dry kit, doesn't fuel pressure increase with nitrous flow? If you put more nitrous through the reglulator, wouldn't it also increase your FP or am I mistaken? I would think going to a bigger nitrous jet on a dry kit would affect your A/F more as far as leaning it out. I think i'm good on the A/F side. My O2 readings on my laptop during my run at that pressure were both above 1.000 which were actually richer then my dyno run spraying at about 1000psi bottle pressure where my O2's were reading about .900.

I don't have a dry kit, so I can't comment on whether your setup adds more fuel automatically or not. Wet kits don't. Regardless of the kit, 1100 psi will flow more nitrous, which is like running a bigger shot. So as long as your getting enough fuel, you'll be fine. Your O2 sensor values look like your plenty rich.
