Bottle placement

I have a nitrous works wet kit . it says in the directions that the bottle must face forward . is this a must? or does it matter as long as the siphon tube is submerged.

Re: Bottle placement

I've run them sideways before, just twist the bottle slightly so the hose end of the valve is pointing towards the rear of the car. That will help on acceleration. There is a siphon tube inside that extends from the valve to the bottom of the bottle. It runs at an angle to the bottom corner of the bottle, on the outlet side of the valve.

Kinda like this

Top
T <------ outlet hose

bottom....
