Blow Down tubes

I know some tracks won't let you run unless you have one, but how necessary are they? What if the bottle is mounted between the front seats? Would I need on then?

Re: Blow Down tubes

If your bottle relief valve blew and you didn't have a blow-down tube, you'd have a huge cloud of white fog, and anything in the way would freeze. Your leg, your arm, whatever. So the bad news is you couldn't see where you were driving, but the good news is that you might not be able to steer anyway

I'd suggest getting one, it's not in the safety requirements for nothing.
