What is the biggest shot any of you guys have ran through one of your street legal cars?

This is out of pure curiosity!
im about to put a 2 stage 200 shot on my maro.

 

I ran a two stage pro shot fogger setup with a Victor Jr on my 406ci SBC in my C10 .... first stage was 150 second stage was 200.

 

I am about to do a 2 stage 200 shot also. One dry 75 shot and one wet 125 shot. I am on a stock bottom end and plan on running a progressive controller on the 125 help keep the motor alive alittle longer. I will be running E-85 on it so I think I should have the octane to do it.How are you setting yours up? Just looking for better idea's on how to set it up.

 

225 first stage 325 2nd stage both on at 6200 shifting at 7800 and 7K out the back door.

 

Im not sure just yet how im going to set it up, i currently am running a 75 dry shot.
Im going up to my race shop this weekend to see what they recomend.

 

sprayed a 400 shot outta the hole, then hit it with a 600 wet shot on top of it...on my honda TYPE RRRRRRRRRR

shiznity- are you running a direct port setup?
I dont imagine that you do this with a one or two nozzle kit?

 

What kind of shot can a ls1 handle when fully forged?
Stock block and heads

 

Pro flow plate kit. on a vic jr.

 

Depending on build the aluminum motors can handle 300 at least. the limiting factor tends not to be the blcok mote of the sourounding parts especualy head bolts.

 

So a 250 2 stage shot would be ok with a fully forged motor?
With the proper setup of course...

 

Yes we have done it quite a few times.

 

my Z28 had (before i pulled the motor) a 2 stage 175 a piece, so a 350 shot at pinks all out i brought both stages in out of the hole in an attempt to break the stock 10 bolt, i was on 11.5 ET streets too, rear didnt break and i yanked the tires in the air my thinking was, i want a 12 bolt and what better than to break the car on national tv!

 

dang 350 huh, how many times did you run it like that was it reliable?
