Post best N2O gear

I currently have a auto 3.23 car and I use a NX 150 shot. Because of a whinning rear I and going to upgrade my gears. I was really leaning toward the 3.42 because I like to drive long distances and I dont want to be in overdrive at the end of the quarter. THose of you with 3.73 please respond with how they respond to nitrous and what gear and rpm you are at the end of the quarter. Thanks.

3.73s will get approx 20-22mpg on the highway at 70-80mph with a 26"tall tire.

In the quarter with the 26" tire, you shouldnt have to worry about running out of gear in 3rd, until you obtain 120+mph trap speeds.

I'm running 3.42's. I'd go 3.73 NA and 3.42 with a power adder.

It depends on your converter. With my 3800 stall, 3.73s and 26" tires, I hit the rev limit (6500) around 100' before the traps, due to converter slip. As a result, I've only been able to hit 117.9 so far, when I know there is more available.

With the TH400, I have no OD, so either I need 27" tires or a Gear Vendors.

When I had the 2400 SLP TC and the 4L60E, I had no problems getting over 120 at top of 3rd. (not at the track, though )
