Best budget nitrous kit?

I would like to keep the entire kit under 650 bucks including all of the little things that are needed, so what kit would you recommend and where can I find the best prices. Right now I am looking to only purchase a kit, heater, and window switch. I have a bolton tune in the car from pcmforless, do you guys think I will run into any problems with a 100 shot with this tune and colder plugs? I would guess wot timing is 35. I am not looking to ever spray over a 150 shot on the car and I will probably keep it under a 100 with the stock fuel pump. What is the limit on the stock fuel pump? 425rwhp? With a 100 shot I should be around that limit and I am not ready put a fuel pump in the car.

www.dynotune.com

they have a wet single nozzle kit for LT1's. its like 440 or something. then you can pick up a window switch like one from BMN shown here...

it is fully adjustable without the use of pills and has a first gear lock out. then you add in a fuel pressure safety switch, and blow down tube your not far off. just get a gauge on the bottle so you know how many PSI the tank is at. a warmer isnt neccesarry but it will help. By the way ive never heard anything negative about Dynotune kits and you wont find a brand new kit for less than their price. good luck.

Yeah I am strongly considering that kit along with the Mallory Hyfire ignition that has a built in window switch, revlimiter and timing retard abilities. I will probably need that because I don't want to retune my car for nitrous. I swear that I saw the dyno tune kit new for 399 not too long ago. It is 469 right now. It looks like a good kit, but I am worried about the reliability of the solenoids.

i would think the solenoids cant be bad, they seem like a pretty good place, so the quality cant be far from an NX kit or something along the lines of a more expensive more known kit. heres a Cold Fusion kit for 440.

that looks like a nice kit as well. i wouldnt be too worried about the solenoids failing, maybe talk to one of the nitrous guys around here and see what he thinks.

That's good to know. Any dyno numbers or gains at the track?

Re: Best budget nitrous kit?

Send me a PM if you're looking for a real high quality budget kit. HSW has some new kits out that aren't up on our site yet. One of them is somewhat similar to the CFN ls1/lt1 kit but without any of the brass nozzles/fittings, all stainless steel. The quality of the solenoids are on par with any other manufacture, and they do carry a lifetime warranty.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: Best budget nitrous kit?

We offer many different brand systems all the way down to our in house brand. The only real way to cust cost is by sacrificing safety and quality..

Thats all there is to it. In order to do a wet system with the needed accessories, safety and quality 650.00 is not possible. I will be more than happy to do what I can to help but it will add up to be more than your budget. I suggest taking your time and buying the parts as you get the money. Then installing it.If you can not afford to do it right you can not afford to replace the motor.
