basic N.O.S. kit for $350... should I take it?

Just a basic dry kit that I was planning on putting on my LT1, bottle, lines, switch and solenoids. Its new and I was wondering if its a good buy and what else I would need to go along with it for safety since I will be installing it on my only and daily driven car. Thanks.

If you drive that car in your sig..then PASS on that deal...

Get a NX wet kit...new is close to that price your paying...

Instead of piecing together everything (if you wanted to go new) then get the nx wet kit, and genx2 kit (do a search on it here on on websites that sell NX brand), digital 6 igintion , if auto (window switch), some gauges and thats bout it oh in-line fuel pump if u wanna run a 150+ shot

if not then buy a basic kit from the board..

and get a heater, fpss, blow-down tube etc...

I always heard that the lt1 manifold doesnt flow fuel very well... whats a blow down tube and fpss also is the genx2kit a type of nx kit? I dont want to rely on the nitrous and wasnt even considering it until a friend of mine offered it to me. Was planning for heads and cam but I have time to change my mind since I havent got all the bolt ons I want.

in that case, i HIGHLY recommend you dont get n20 till you get the bolt ons first...you want a free flowing exhuast system first...

so if i were u save and get headers or do it at the same time as your heads/cam...

the n20 sounds like its cheap hp right? but believe me it adds up...a good kit with everyone runs over a grand usually...
im already over that price...

a genx2 is an added option that is like an accessories kit...that u can order along with the nx kit...

new at a shop will run u about 850 for JUST those 2 things...

u can get used kits here all day for 300 no problem, but add the extras that u might want and its not cheap...

if u wanted a digital 6..those retial 250.00+, since u dont need a window switch that'll save u like a 100.....then if u wanna run big shots...a in-line fump will run u 125ish, gauges are expensive and dont forget install costs if u dont do it yourself...you'll need some NGK tr6 spark plugs too....those are like 15.00...

Cool $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I agree with Chesee. Nitous is by no means cheap. Mine is not even done on my car yet, and it is a fourtune. NX Wet Kit= $520, GenX2 Kit=$300,NX Sysmax controls=$100,NX Bottle opener=$200,Electronic WOT Switch=$80, Malory 685=$220, Walbore Fuel Pump Kit=$220, Spark Plugs=$15. I sure that there is more to buy! I haven't even bought all that stuff yet- I haven't bought the fuel pump yet or the NX Sysmax kit yet. I put a lot of nitrous kits in my friends cars, and they work, but I was not happy with the "Install" without the extra's. $1750 For all that stuff and I am sure it will be over $2000 when I am done.(If I change the spark plugs,I should change the wires, If I Change the wires I should just put the headers on at the same time) See were this is going! Not everyone goes to the xtreme, but I like it to be done right the first time- and I like the little luxuries, like the remote bottle opener. Buy the time I am done I should have just bought a Supercharger, But than I would buy all the extra's for that and it would be $6000. Well just my input.
