anyone using a n-tercooler nitrous express kit?

i ordered the kit. we got it installed ...im going to get the tank filled with co2 but my local welding shop cannot fill that tank with co2 because the fitting is for nitrous. anyone else run this kit and fill it with co2 with the exsiting nozzle on the tank? i was told by the welding place id have to have the nozzle changed on the tank in order for it to allow them to fill it with co2. its pretty lame if they tell you it can run co2 to cool the intercooler and they include a nitrous bottle..any help is appreciated

co2 approx 5 bucks to fill 10 lb bottle... nitrous approx 50 bucks for 10lb bottle

Nitrous bottle usually bigger than co2 bottle, can't you just get a few adapters to mate your bottle to their filling valve? never thought of using co2 for that... I asked if anyone was running a kit like this.. all laughed sayd to spray the no2 in the inlet not on the intercooler, but co2 there's a cheap idea.. two bottles in the back... Is there room?

well its not that simple...and..to cool the intercooler co2 and n2o cool similarly.. i dont want to inject n2o into my car...i should have enough power as is..but if you get this kit.make sure you specify you want a co2 nozzle im going through major drama. just tryin to get this setup to work with co2. basically im going to buy a co2 bottle locally..they wanted 100 bucks in parts if i were to convert my bottle myself from a n2o bottle to a co2 bottle.. or id have to ship it in. then get it converted somethin i didnt want to do...man why cant **** just be simple..heh it never is

Re: anyone using a n-tercooler nitrous express kit?

correct you can..whoever you get that kit from...you need to specify a co2 valve or you'll get boned like i did..i hope alot of people read this....it doesnt say anywhere..it says co2 or nitrous...so its somewhat misleading ...right now i may just keep my n2o tank..i got some fitting i need from nitrous express on its way...i'll probably just get an alumnium co2 tank..and see if i can mount it upto my setup..its just a pain in the *** they wanted me to ship my tank to them...pay freight..id be out the bottle etc..waiting ..the dude at nitrous express was cool his name is josh...but they need to clarify this situation cause..anyone selling the kit they will ship it with a nitrous valve and if i wanted to use n2o id run it in the motor... n2o is 40 to 50 dollars to fill a 10 lb tank.... co2 is 5 bucks around here....give or take..so why they would ship a bottle and think people would blow n2o on an intercooler is beyond me

Re: anyone using a n-tercooler nitrous express kit?

actually im in process now...a local welding shop got me a -4an to co2 fitting..for fairly cheap...i have the nitrous express valve if anyone needs it..they are pricey for no real reason lol.. the welding supply place..sorta put a few adapters together.so basically all i need now is a co2 tank..and..to wire up the switch to arm it..i'll keep people posted how well it works.im in ny.so right now its chilly out..40 to 60 degrees in the evening..all im hoping for is that this kit makes it..run well when its 90 plus degrees out by dropping the inlet temps...right now with the way the car is setup, my inlet temps are 90 degrees or less even when im romping on the car a bit..i'll keep people posted as to how well it works..i have software to monitor the motor..i may not have direct hp numbers, but will do with and without the co2 running..to show differences in inlet temps
