I believe the fastest is going to be Kurtis Tamez, the moderator of this forum

However I went 12.5@112(100hp shot) with:
Mac Headers/Y-pipe
Flowmaster Exhaust
Moroso CAI
Subframes
LCA's
on 255/50/16 BFG DR's

This was all back in 2001. Hope to hit 11's this season.

what does Tamez run?

my time above was going to the button at about the 330, spinning badly, letting off the button and going back to it. i hope to see 12.3-.5 with traction and spraying off the line.

if that happends, ill throw the 150s in and see if i can set some kind of record or somthing for going 11s with basically N2O on a stock LT1

if i fall below my expectations, ill prolly put some exhaust and a intake on or somthing. but ill get there one way or another!

I believe KT's best was 11.59@120 with a 140-150 shot That was with a Internally Stock Engine, Tranny,

To the best of my memory he had:
Hooker LT's
Mufflex Y-pipe
Mufflex Cat-Back
SLP CAI
Moser 9" w/3:73's
And this was on a set of Hoosier QTP's and skinnies

I think im the fastest on the board for a bolt on bottled LT1,11.25@119 1.51 60'.

When i had stock manifolds i had gone 11.41@117 through the cats with a 150.

With the longtubes and a 100 shot i went 11.5's.

LOL Thanx for the Vote of confidence, but I hardly claim fastest anything these days. Maybe next year. Things are startin to get ugly around here. LS1s and Turbo Cars had better Look out. Come Thunder Shootout.

The 11.59 has since been eclipsed by Dirk, who has gone DEEP 11s, though with alot more weight reduction and a converter (which I never had)

To answer the topic:
I had the 100hp pills in for all of maybe 6-8 passes which netted me 12.5x's-12.6s, on a car which only Mods were Catback and Drag Radials. FULL weight of 3850lbs.

Dirk,

Yeah, I bought the car beginning of last Summer, but its really just an un-needed toy. We found out the Ole' Lady is Pregnant, so I figured instead of pulling the necessary $$ out of my pocket to finish the Z28, I'd just sell the Hawk, take the cash, and finsih it.

I'll probably end up with something else, just not a 396 Hawk, probably a "stockish" F-Bod of some sort, or maybe a Forced Air (Turbo or Blown) Fox Body Mustang... Who knows. For now, I'm just trying to get just this one car back together LOL.

My fully loaded 3880lb 95 vert went 11.52 @ 118.63 with a spinning 1.61 60ft time on an 26x 8 ET street. My mods include pro yank 3600 extreme, qa1 shocks, moser 12 bolt, flp trans, long tubes, flowmaster cat back, and 1.6 rockers w/ new springs with a 100 shot.

BJ Deans ran a 11.3 @ 118 or something real close to that with a NX 100 shot. That was with stock heads, cam and suspension. Since then he has gone a 7.1 @ 95 in the 1/8. That should be good for 11.1 or so in the 1/4. I think by far he has the fastest car per mod and money. Oh and all runs are with ET Streets 26X10.5's .
