adjust pcm program for nitrous?

Anything I need to adjust? I'll probably richen it up a bit based on my plug readings right now (look a little lean). Anything else?

Nope, tune it for best performance N/A then spray it.

If you dont have an ignition box that can pull timing, you might want to make a program with les timing depending on the size of the shot.

The one thing I wonder about is shift points and working with my window switch. The window is 3000-6000 right now, and my shift points are a hair below that (5900). Any problems spraying through the shifts?

i'm still trying to learn this stuff, but i think spraying through the shifts is not a good idea.

On a side note, what's the stock rev-limiter set to?

stock limiter is at 7000 or something. I don't want it pulling fuel out to limit revs. I use the msd to limit it to 6000 by pulling spark instead

if you have a stock trans, spraying through shifts is a sure way to kill it. trustme,i know .

If it is a built trans,do you know what went in it? do you have a BIG cooler? Are you confident your builder did the job right?

Mike, if you have Datamaster and log the trans sensors you will see that if your nitrous is set to cut out at 6000 and your trans shifts at 5900 you will most likely not be spraying during the shift. (time delay for shift is set in the PCM) Or you cn buy a linear pot and make an adjustable "pill" and set the window switch to cut out at your shiftpoint. I have the rpm/ohm table if you want one.

Yeah skip, if you can send over the RPM/OHM table that would be great. I used to have a link to it, but I haven't organized my links in so long I don't think I could find it anymore
