Post ? about carb and N20

I have a NX TPI/LT1/LS1 kit. I have zero room for a plate kit with my intake and hood. My question is can I use this kit that I have because it is a fogger kit? can I just screw it into my air cleaner and let it spray right down the carb? Or do I have to buy a carb fogger kit? thanks

Shawn

Super, I would imagine the biggest problem is that the N2O jetting in that system you have is based on a much higher fuel pressure than you would have with a carb.

I am doing the same thing. I converted a 305 TPI to a carb setup with a 600 Holley and Performer Intake. I have an NX LT1 wet kit that I used with great success on the TPI intake(75 shot) and now I need to convert to a carb plate with biger fuel jets. Call or email Nitrous Express. I need to do the same actually ASAP!

And I hear ya about hood clearance!!! I am using a stock TBI air cleaner actually with a K&N and homemade ram air(4") Goodluck!!

Well, I will chime in here and try to help, although it will probably get deleted cause Im not a paying advertiser, but here it goes.....Dont use the nozzle for the carb application. Buy a conversion kit, which will probably run you about 160 bucks(depending on where you go). I would recomend the hitman conversion. It will come with the necessary jets and plate, to make the kit to fit the carb. The single nozzle wont really work with the carb. This plate will actually be adjustable up to 200hp. And it works great.
The conversion kit will let you use your solenoids, with the newly supplied plate, with the newly supplied jets.
