To my knowledge, there is only one TransGo kit for the 4L60E. You should be able to find it on almost anyone of our speed shop sponser websites.

I believe what Screw-Rice is probably talking about is the B&M ShiftPlus improver.

i believe GM put a small button for "performance shifting" in some of the 93-95 firebirds, maybe the formula's, all it did was raise line pressure similar to that B&M unit to firm up your shifts. its argued both ways whether or not it is bad... i personally dont like the idea of it.

Some T/As got a performance button which pushed transmission line pressure up. Limited production option.

Hmm, didn't know that. Thanks guys. Any idea how limited of an option it really was and what years?

i thought once before when i was looking at them (the transgo kits) there was on that just made firmer shifts, and then there was another one that allowed you to hold your car in a certain gear. (kind of like a manumatic thing?) i very well could be wrong though.

mine has one its a 94 formula its kind of cool just hit the switch and neck snapping shifting. and on long trips with the button off smooth shifts. i have never seen another trans am or formula with one. i have seen a similar looking button right in front of the cupholder that says second gear start on the v6's .but my formula is a little diffrent anyway from the dealer someone ordered it with all kinds of extra stuff.and now its mine muuhahaha
