93 Z Computer ?'s

I dont know if I should put this in this section or in the computer section but here goes. I'm thinking about running the juice after Chirstmas. The stuff I'm reading says that it is best to drop timing in the higher part of an N2O run so that you are getting the most power. I have a 93 so that means no MAF. How can I get the computer to do this. I drive the car daily so the program must be streetable. I will only race it occasionally. By the time I get the money saved up for the kit the mods that will be finished on the car are: Moroso CAI, Holley 52MM TB, 24# injectors, LT4 Hot kit, Hooker LT's, MSD 6AL box w/ coil, vented opti conversion, Flowmaster muffler, and all the free stuff, i.e. no EGR and no AIR, TB bypass and so on. All help is welcomed. I will have one of the mail order chips done for the cam swap. Will it be best just to get the N20 in the car and get it dynoed tuned?

There is no need to have a chip burned to pull timing......Just run an aftermarket ignition box. There are a few out there that can be triggered to pull timing only when the nitrous is on.

If you haven't allready bought the MSD box, I would recommend a MSD Digital6, very nitrous friendly. It well pull up to 10 degrees timing if needed. If you allready have the 6al you can get a add-on retard box. Check e-bay tons of them, cheap.

I saw a box that you can plug into your laptop and program it. Is this what I will need or the box with the little dial?
