300 shot bottle pressure question

Buddy of mine has a 402 with a 300 shot, anyways....

What kind of hp loss does he have when his bottle pressure is only 650psi?? 1200psi=300 hp to the wheels last time we dynoed

(650 / 1200)^0.5 = .736

He's losing at least 26% of the nitrous flow, and even more than 26% of the 300-shot for running ultra rich. Generally not a good idea to go over 1060psi in the bottle pressure. 1200psi is above the critical point for N2O, and you get in to problems where the nitrous can exist in both liquid and gasseous form simultaneously, reducing flow.

I'll bet that car ran like a**. When I run my car on a 100 shot at 800 psi it nets me roughly 6-7mph. When I run it at 1050 it nets me roughly 10-11. Compounding that problem three times must be unpleasent.

Fill that bottle and keep it warm!
