16 ft line too short?

16 ft line too short?
I started the install of my NX system for my 96 Camaro LT1 car. I ran the main nitrous line through the gromet of the fuel lines and under the car but it's too short. Could I run it on the passengers side or what? I would like it to be outside the car. Where exactly can I route the line?
