150 NX kit on 383
150 NX kit on 383
I'm currently thinking about getting an NX wet kit w/ 150 hp jets and dropping it onto my bored stroked 383. currently it's in the shop for a floated valve on cyl no. 7, and since i'm clueless as to how to hold valves up, i'll let the mechanics replace the spring.
as for the kit, it comes with everything, it was pulled off of another LT1. but, i'm unsure if i can make this fit my BBK throttle body and how i should change the LT1 edit programming to accept the NOS. at 10.87:1, i don't want to risk anything.

Tune the computer for the best all motor setup. Then tune the nitrous with the fuel jet.
10.8:1 isnt risking anything, thats slightly more then stock, and nitrous LIKES compression.
It should be a single fogger that goes in front of the Tbody,no matter what brand it is.

thanks- i'm still a bit clueless as to how n2o works, though i've been reading everything i can get my hands on about it. if there's an article/page you recommend, post up a link and i'll be sure to read it.
Colder plugs are an excellent idea with nitrous. I regard a window switch as a necessity as well. Pulling a couple of degrees of timing when running the nitrous is also an excellent idea.
