125 dry shot for LT1

How am I going to supply the fuel for a 125 dry shot on my LT1? I read that the ls1 MAF adjust the fuel when you spray..... but Im not spraying a LS1 . do i need a larger fuel pump and injectors, will i need to reprogram anything? program for "with nitrous" or "with-out nitrous".... how is that going to work? after market ECU?

Real quickly, the NOS 5176 dry kit raises the fuel pressure through a regulator thereby adding the additional fuel through the injectors. The kit comes with an inline fuel pump, but I would definitely upgrade to say SVO injectors to prevent lockup at higher PSI. No need going to bigger injectors if you're more or less stock, but if you do, you would need to get reprogrammed for the bigger injectors. I would also go with the usual nitrous items like a window switch, colder spark plugs like NGK TR6, and a bottle warmer. Otherwise no need to reprogram anything, but I always suggest to run the setup on the dyno first to see where your air/fuel is at before running at the track.

Do a search in this forum for the NOS 5176 kit. You should be able to find all of your answers.

I answered his questions on another forum... he is trying to build his own dry kit. I've explained how the 5176 works, but he's interested in finding another way to add the fuel via the stock injectors.

I have read a few posts on this forum, but most of them more than a year ago, from people who were able to spray through the MAF on an LT1, without grenading anything. Just though he might get some feedback here from someone who has done it.

I'll just say it's not recomended.......you'll have to talk to people who have tried it.....not many have.

I'm not sure if you're saying not many people have built their own dry kit or not many people have sprayed upwards of 125 with a dry kit. If it's the latter, I'd have to disagree. The NOS 5176 kit comes out of the box with 140.
