Just wondering what my sensors should read during the spray (100 shot TNT F1 wet kit)...We scanned it and the drivers side was reading from 890-930mv and the passenger side was reading from 920-950-mv...just wondering if this is where it should be or if I am running to lean/rich...my buddy with an LS1 said that this is about where it should be for an LS1 but not sure for the LT1...what do you think???

 

Sounds about right, I hear alot that the O2's arent good ways of measuring the rich/lean factor of a motor. But those numbers seem right if you were to judge it by that. Normally the higher the number, the richer it is. You may be a a hair on the lean side with the juice, But I really dont know under juice. Those numbers seem right for an all motor car. Also I dont know if nitrous messes with the O2's to give them a false reading or not?

 

Yeah...it stays at about 900mv off of the juice on both sides. We just did it to get a base figure to make sure that it will be all right to run since I have been running into a few issues early on with the NAWZ.

I want to hook it up to a wideband eventually to see what A/F is. I might take it down to the dyno and dyno it on a 100 shot, cuz the dyno guy hooks up a wideband to it to monitor the A/F...I guess the 40 bucks to dyno is cheap insurance rather than having to fix the motor.

 

Sounds a tad on the lean side, but not bad. I have a lot of dyno runs on the bottle and have scanned the car a lot. In my experience, the low 900mv range nets me around 13 to 13.5:1. I would guess your in the mid to high 13:1 range on your A/F. But like you said, $40 is cheap insurance and it will give you an idea of where your running. Scan it while your on the dyno and compare your O2 data to the dyno data. That way, you'll know where your at when you run the bottle compared to your O2 data. The O2's aren't super accurate at WOT, but it gives you a ballpark idea of where your at. Hope that helps.

Will do...I hope to get the car on the dyno within a week or so and see what it does as far as A/F goes. Hopefully I can scan her too and see what A/F compared to 02 is so that I will have a better idea and will be able to help everybody else out in the future.

you are running to rich! doesnt matter what you are doing to your engine, you aways want a 14.7 to 1 fuel/air mixture witch will be around 400mv to 500mv

Ummm...NO!!! 14.7:1 is the stoichiometric A/F ratio..that is only for idle, not for WOT. And 400 - 500mv is inaccurate as well...the O2's at idle will run anywhere from 100mv to 950mv...get your info correct man.
