Is there a club near Albequerque(sp?)

Are there any clubs in the New Mexico area? What about drag strips?

I MAY be moving down there this summer/fall and would like to find some local enthusiasts if possible.

I dont know about tracks but when I was there they had a few F bodys there. It felt slow there also because of the Altitude

Yes, I'll probably be going backwards as far as E.T. goes, but would like to meet some local clubs when I get down there. I don't wanna be doing my cam swap by myself.

They reopened the strip in Abq. after being shutdown for a long time. You are looking at a track elevation of about 5500 feet, so the et's are way down from what you may be used to. There is also a road course at Sandia. To get more information on the scene, here is a board catering to NM, made up mostly of members from the Abq area. I used to live in the southern part of NM until November before moving here.
