Hello to my fellow F body owners... I live in Farmington, New Mexico, and there have been a lot of loaded people coming up here from Durango Colorado for the street races (there are quite a few street races up (or down) here... Well, last night I got busted racing a Subaru WRX STI running 18lbs of boost... I won, but we got busted at the end. Closest race I have ever seen. What sucks the most is that it was in a double fine zone!!!! Damn!

Well, I have a 97 z28, procharged @5.5 psi boost (7lb pulley rated at sea level) 58mm throttle body, 42lb injectors, chrome vette c5 rims, and yokohama AVS ES100 s... after warmed up, these are great street/strip tires... edelbrock shorty headers, as well as 3 inch cat-back flowmaster exhaust.

O go see the judge today, I hope he isnt a dick. I expect a big fine though, I hope he wont take off all those points on my license.

 

What did the fine turn out to be?

 

You would think that New Mexico has alot of unpopulated open roads that would be safe for racing. They ought to let you all close off the street

 

Be glad you're in New Mexico... If that happened to you out here, you'd never see your car again. California law is harsh as hell on 'street racing'.
