Since all of us are pretty bummed about SLP Backing out on us up there in Palmdale - I thought that there is no reason that we all couldn't still get together that weekend. Here's my idea - Speedzone in City of Industry at 10:00 AM on the 27th of April.
For all you outa towners - it's off the 60 in Rowland Heights. Exit Azusa and head north. Turn right on Gale and then another right on Castleton St. It will be the first driveway on your right - you can't miss it. If this was too confusing use Mapquest.com and search for

It's a cool place. They have go cart racing, mini-dragsters, a HUGE arcade, and they even have food and drinks. Wanrning - it's not cheap - but it's worth the money.

I say we meet up at 10:00 AM the morning of the 27th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 26th is out of the question for me since I need to watch my 3 month old son while his mother is at work. If this sounds good, then I'll see you all on Sunday! Post on this thread if you're going. If not, that's cool. This isn't formal like SLP's would've been - just a cool So. Cal Camaro get together. I hope for a good turn out - I want photo ops!

 

If I get my Z back together by the 27th I'm down. But it looks like it might not be that soon. I'll try make the time to get it back together.

Since its at Speedzone can I just show up if the Z isn't running yet? Its been awhile since I been there and need an excuse to ride the slick carts and do a couple runs down the straight and oh yeah the grand prix cars too

I think your directions are a little off. The place is South of the 60, so if you head North on Azuza you'll be on the wrong side.

I take the 57 north to the 60 west, exit at Fullerton and turn left (South). Then right on La Colima and right on Stoner Creek. It'll be right in front of you at Stoner Creek and Castleton.

I was just there last weekend with the Corvetteforum.com people. They got a group package deal of $30 for 2 hours of unlimited tracks and arcade.

Saturday I'll be at the softball game event I posted on here and Sunday I'll be at California Speedway for the NASCAR race.
