grrr wtf, maybe you can help?
maybe you can help me find my next car..
i have been searching the ads, and the internet for a 97 camaro z28(or ss) m6 with t-tops ... i would prefer black or red... but hey, at this point i'll paint the damn thing myself.. the mileage has been the kicker while i have been shopping... it hasta have under 100k .. i am hoping for something in the 60-70k range...
if you guys know of any camaros that are for sale in a parking lot, driveway, backyard, time capsule, whateva... that match the description above, please let me know... i am driving down to la this weekend and more than likely i will just go from dealership to dealership looking for my next car...
going through autotrader.com has been a pain cause the cars are already sold by the time i call.. and the internet can only go so far.. any help would be friggin awesome ..
thanks doods..
p.s.- if you know of any good dealerships to check lemme know, i will be spending the friday and saturday just driving around, so location aint no thing...

Well how much are you looking at spending ?? Does it have to be an LT1 car ?? Because local dealer (Graham Chevrolet in Santa Barbara, Cali..) has a sweet 2001 Pontiac Firebird Formula w/ 15,000 miles for $ 19,000 exact setup that you are looking for Black w/ Leather, T-Tops, LS1 V8, M6... Trust me, if they would have had this car before I bought my 2002 Z28, I would have gotten this Formula... Just since I bought my car around 5 months ago, I cannot see to take that big of a loss as well..
http://www2.grahamautocenter.com/en_US/ check it out and I would recommend if you are willing to drive there you can call them at 805-898-2400 and ask for either Dino or Jim Ballard...

preciate the response dude... i am looking to spend max 12k(army pay isnt the best) ... thats why i have been looking for a 97 z28, overall they seem to be priced within my range(except for a few low mileage ss's and the occasional <2000 mile museum piece..) and they are plentiful,
its just that the options and mileage arent matching up... either it'll have an auto, or it will be a teal color, or it will be ragged on... or in many of the cars that i have called on, they will be sold already...
pretty much i was hoping that someone on this board knew of a car being sold locally to them, kinda like an inside deal...
i recently found a few verts that look to be in good condition with an m6, and even with the compromises you have to make with a vert, might just be an all right alternative to t-tops...
thanks again dood..
