Thumbs down Speed contests/reckless driving

I think the law makers in California have way too much time on thier hands. Now(as of Jan 1,2003),if you get caught burning rubber, doing donuts,in a speed contest,or exhibition of speed,or taking corners at a high speed, the police can take your car away for 30 days.(SB1489).I think it's still ok to run a red light while turning right as long as it's under 10 mpr,and only a handfull of people in the crosswalk, and drive between 10-20 mpr over the speed limit in a school zone, and play cat and mouse on the freeway, and you can still cut someone off as long as your suv is overpriced and under powered. And using turn signals,California must have thrown that law out years ago,as most older people and younger women in this town have no idea how to use them. There ,I vented, and to keep this in the tech section,I've decided to get stickier tires so as not to burn rubber, while making turns at high speed when I particaipate in speed contests everyday on my way to work, dodging all the potholes in the road that California has no money to fix.My02

ahahahahha

That has got to be the funniest and most true thing i have heard all week, move to arizona they have a new law called spinning your tires they passed this year. If you get a exabition of speed tickit go in and pled it down to spinning your tires its no points on your licences, and it wont affect your insurance, and its not a moving viloation :P I have a few of them thats how i know nad its only like a 60 dollar ticket or something like that

I don't miss CA at all these days, I have lived the last 3 years in AZ and I love it here.

Didn't know about that new "spinning tires" law that is cool.

In CA I had a few "unsafe start" tickets and it cost me fines and points!
